Bidder FAQs

Absolutely! As long as you have a valid credit card, you can bid from anywhere. However, please verify your country’s vehicle import regulations.

If the reserve isn’t met, only the seller and highest bidder get one opportunity to exchange offers. We do not share broker or contact details afterward.

Bids are a legal commitment. We do not cancel bids on the site. Please bid only if you intend to purchase.

We do not provide seller contact info post–auction. If you receive unwanted messages, please report to [email protected].

We encourage pre–bid inspections. Use the “Contact Seller” button on the listing to arrange an inspection.

Click the black “Contact Seller” button on the listing—bidding registration is required to send it.

We display a “No Reserve” yellow badge if none exists. If missing, that means there is a hidden reserve price.

Enter your details on the registration page and confirm your email to enable bidding.

Go to your dashboard under “Cards” to update your card details.

Enter your bid amount and click “Place Bid.” It must exceed the current high bid.

Auctions are listed in the location’s currency. We show an estimated USD conversion at confirmation.

Payments are processed via authorized car dealers on our site or via bank transfer as arranged.

We deduct a 2.5% buyer fee from the final price and provide seller contact instructions.

The seller and highest bidder can negotiate a sale post–auction.

In the final two minutes, the clock resets to two minutes after each bid to ensure fairness.

We place a 2.5% hold on your initial bid; if you do not win, the hold is released.

When you raise your bid, a second hold is placed on the difference between your initial and winning bid.

Seller FAQs

Fairness is paramount; we do not allow sellers to bid on their own listings.

Auctions cannot be canceled once live on the platform.

You cannot edit the original listing, but you may add supplemental information after review.

We generally discourage relists; new listings receive more attention—but you may relist after 14 days.

Reserve Not Met – Seller FAQs

We’ve updated the process for unmet‐reserve auctions. You and the top bidder each get one counter‐offer. If you agree, the standard buyer fee (up to $7,500) applies and the sale proceeds as normal.

This adds structure and transparency post‐auction, lets more buyers and sellers use our verified checkout, and clearly shows post‐reserve outcomes.

Sellers may lower their reserve to the current high bid. If still unmet, the highest bidder must submit a higher counter‐offer.

You’ll be notified, and the auction closes without a sale. No bidder contact details are shared.

You’ll receive an email notification and can also view the status on your Account page.

You have 24 hours per round to make or respond to a counter‐offer. After that, the auction ends without a sale.

Your bid must exceed the current high bid and remain below your reserve price.

Bidder FAQs: Reserve Not Met

You and the seller will each get one opportunity to exchange counter-offers. You’ll receive an email with instructions and can also view details on your “Account” page. If a counter-offer is accepted, the buyer fee of 2.5% (up to $7,500) applies and the sale proceeds as normal.

Your counter-offer must exceed the existing high bid. There is no maximum limit.

You have 24 hours in each round to make or respond to an offer. If the time expires, the auction ends without a sale.
